[Case Study] Oil Pipeline Data Transmission

A major pipeline company in Russia has implemented an SDH backbone using optical fiber to transmit data streams to a central monitoring station and control station located 1,600 km away. As a result, optical fiber communication capable of covering a distance of 80 km has been achieved. The ring topology optical fiber network has improved reliability, scalability, and network uptime.
